From NYT's.  He sold typewriters to many Yale students
and professors for decades, including the typewriter for Professor
Eric Segal, who wrote Love Story on it.

Interesting Name:

     Ximya

Anecdote:

A four year old wasn't cooperating while I tried to look in his mouth.  I was crouched down kneeling in front of him when suddenly the Mother's head appeared over the boy, looking down at him very seriously.
She whispered in a stern, slow voice, "Remember...the...handcuffs."  The boy's eyes widened and he immediately opened his mouth for me.  I had never seen such an incredible transformation.
What I thought was an ominous threat by the Mother turned out not to be one, as she then said in a cheery voice, "O.K.  Let's go to the toy store and get you those handcuffs!"
          Westport, Connecticut  1990's

Favorite Musician/song:

      Band of Horses, "Annabelle"

   Thomas H. Cook, Breakheart Hill

       A lyrical mystery, poetic writing.

Favorite Movie/DVD:

Eat, Drink, Man, Woman (Ang Lee, director)

In the days before all the cooking channels, the opening scene of the Father preparing their Sunday meal was exquisite.
