The series on my Migrant Health Care Journal is now done.  Many wonderful memories for me of the poor patients, the caring staff, the rustic country side and gentle way of life.  Today I will start with daily pictures (12) of an illustrated book I composed and illustrated, Impressions of the Met.  I hope you enjoy it.  Please send me comments or emails…I would love to hear from you.

Chief Complaint: (written on the chart before I go in the room)

“check ear; has been putting caulking gun in his ear”

Interesting Name:

     Vanilla

Anecdote:

A transcribed neurology report said, “The infant has a common condition and should do well.  It is a known enmity.”
          South Carolina, January, 2008

Poetry:

Coup d'essai:

Favorite Musician/song:

Simon and Garfunkel, "Song for the Asking"

The voices and gentle themes…takes me back to a time of innocent youth and longing.

Favorite Book/author:

Brown Raphel
The Little Flowers of St. Francis

Great humility and love.  I saw a beautiful copper inlaid portrait on the side walk in San Francisco during a recent visit.  He knew that his message of love would spread around the world and it did…from Italy to California through the Franciscan friars.

Favorite Movie/DVD:

The Iron Giant

    Nostalgic, childhood, great animation.
