Pastel on corrugated colored paper, in a blank hand-made book given to me
for inspiration by one of my beautiful daughters, Molly.

Chief Complaint: (written on the chart before I go in the room)

     “seech delay”

Interesting Name:

     Stormy Sky Autumn

Anecdote:

I have to say that I was in heaven having my office in my house.  My wife and children were always around me and my patients.  To me, it was one big loving family.
Once, Peter, a friend of my son John, was hit in the nose while playing football in our yard.  I told Peter to step into the examining room so I could check him.
I yelled out, “Johnny, come on in too!”
John, age ten, slipped into the room and looked at me seriously and said in a deadpan voice, “I’m his lawyer.”
          Westport, Connecticut, 1990's

Favorite Musician/song:

Jim Croce  "Time in a bottle"

I fell in love with this song in medical school, 1973, at Columbia in NYC.  The contrast of the purity of this song with the bustling, cold city touched me.

Favorite Book/author:

Favorite Movie/DVD:

The Lunchbox

I had been waiting for this movie for a long time.  A gem…exquisite...quiet, redemptive, speaking to loneliness, love.  Set in India, its scenes almost rival my other favorites depicting India (After the Wedding is number one for me; also the Apu trilogy.)
