Chief Complaint: (written on the chart before I go in the room)
ambitious genitalia (vs ambiguous)
Interesting Name:
Ryver
Anecdote:
As I walked into the room, one Mother reminded me about her son, "This is Tom. He's the screw in the nose and the tick in the belly-button guy."
Westport, Connecticut, 1990's
Poetry:
Somersault and pepper upper
Simmer down and eat your supper.
Anonymous
My children and I often recited this poem at dinner time.
Coup d'essai:
"…the gentleman must have some of the rooms in his brain vacant," the goatherd in Don Quixote, Part I, Chapter 52.
Favorite Musician/song:
Bob Dylan, "Corina, Corina"
Early Dylan…his first two albums (remember that word?) were my favorites, listened to by me 100's of times. I learned to play the guitar by imitating him and still use his picking style now, fifty years later. To look back and see how young he was then is amazing.
Favorite Book/author:
"Italian without a Master" a short story by Mark Twain.
One of his funniest.
Favorite Movie/DVD:
The Bourne Identity, Matt Damon
Great action and also romantic.
